I wouldn't say he's tiny. He's 5-10 and very light. Obviously needs a year of weight training.

But you're point about speed is well-taken. The combine results you quoted say he runs a 4.79 in the 40, but the evaluation says he can "flat out fly." Wonder if he just did poorly during the evaluation.

I was thinking the same thing '87. Could just be another instance of football speed and track speed being two different things. 40 times are irrelevant, as they change a LOT when you put a helmet and pads on.

All I see is that he has interest in BG, not even high level interest either. Let's face it, this is just the recruits bio and doesn't have anything to do with BG's recruiting list. It's tantamount to most any Ohio kid listing theOSU on his rivals.com bio.

There was a great story a couple of years ago about a kid who had forwarded false info about himself to Rivals. Instead of being a small, slow DB with borderline academics, he became a 200lb stud free safety who ran a 4.45 forty (and was fully qualified academically). He got a multi-star rating and began drawing interest from some pretty big schools. His ruse was exposed when one of the major Florida schools called his coach to discuss the upcoming visit they were scheduling with him. .....

I echo the othe posters. BTW - Med interest means he is interested in us, not necessarily the other way around. Hence, we have not offered him.

And I would certainly imagine all our recruits are seen playing football and not recruited simply from stats alone.
