I could freaking care less if I am the only person at the game. 14,999 other people decide not to show up, who cares? I'm there, watching very affordable Division I football and having a good time. I'm tired of everyone thinking its their personal problem to get 25,000 people at a game. Go to the game, take your family, cheer, eat a Doyt dog, bitch about the sun in your eyes on the east side, hope a Deja Vu banner flies over the stadium and catch a Tootsie Roll. It's not my problem that the stadium is not full. It's the problem of the dolts that sit home and watch TV. If they aren't smart enough to figure out what they are missing, that's their problem.
In honor of one of the hardest hitters ever to come out of BG, I hope someone goes Kyle Kramer Saturday. See ya at the Doyt.

Well said BGorD. But can I just say, you are hurting my brain. I know I knew Kyle Kramer, but I can't remember for the life of me where I knew him from. But for whatever reason, I remember him being a really nice guy. Weird, I know (getting old SUCKS!!!).BGorDeath wrote:I could freaking care less if I am the only person at the game. 14,999 other people decide not to show up, who cares? "Bender, what if your dope was on fire???"
"Impossible, Sir. Its in Johnson's underwear".
Way to say it like it is....for the cost, nothing comes close to BG football for affordability. As I've stated before, I can only control myself and my family and friends. IF ya wanna go to the game, c'mon! If not? Your loss.

I also sit on the East side (my season tickets are over there) and I'll tell you what, most of those people over there need to be taught how to cheer. Maybe we can have some instructors during the game come by and show them. I am serious, it's almost dead quiet after big plays. I'd say 95 percent of the noise in our stadium comes from the West side.
GO BG!!!
Kyle could jump about as high as any football player I've ever seen and he had HUGE hands.UK Peregrine wrote:Kyle was a DB for BG in the late 80's. He later went on to be a Cleveland Brown.
He was drafted in the fifth round by the Brownies; according to NFL.com, only Martin Bayless and Charlie Williams were the only BG products to go higher.

Unfortunately, I am old enough that I was there when he played. But I just can't remember if I knew him from a class, or from people I knew he played with. I just remember him being a really nice, smart guy.UK Peregrine wrote:Kyle was a DB for BG in the late 80's. He later went on to be a Cleveland Brown.
I don't know what you guys are talking about. Everytime i've been to the Doyt, the crowd has been loud and very into the games.BGSU33 wrote:I also sit on the East side (my season tickets are over there) and I'll tell you what, most of those people over there need to be taught how to cheer. I was ready to say, "nu-uh, Reggie Thorton was chosen higher" but Thorton was the 116 overall pick versus 114 for Kramer. Both in the fifth round.1987alum wrote: He was drafted in the fifth round by the Brownies; according to NFL.com, only Martin Bayless and Charlie Williams were the only BG products to go higher.
Kramer played like a man possessed and he friggin' hit H-A-R-D.

And if any "fans" ever tell me to quiet down at a BG game, I'll sic the Freaklings on them and it won't be pretty.
