Bowl Projections

Post by MACMAN »

Well as you all may remember I realy dislike the current system.

That said I can say that in reading the various projections, from the people who vote on who plays who. i am interested in a few of them esp if they come to light.
There are still far to many posibilities floating around, but these are few that caught my eye. What have you all seen that got your attention.
1. Ohio state vs ND considering the Texas comon denominator this would be a good a matchup any way you slice it.

2. Western MI vs El paso texas

3. BGSU vs Virgina, Iowa

4. Miami Vs, Iowa, minnisota
5. Toledo vs El paso Texas, iowa

Jr.,
Agree wholeheartledly on this.... Play em ONE game at a time...Right now I don't have good vibes about the MU game, but one never knows about college football these days.

As to bowls, I'd have a hard time seeing FOUR MAC teams in this year unless we've got a similar situation to last year with a lot of non bowl-eligible teams...and that could happen looking at some of the records out there.

Den:

I'm with you. We have no excuse for looking ahead, especially with Miami staring us in the face.

Since BG was ONE of the MAC schools mentioned in the original post, I don't see a need to "move the thread" to another spot on the board. I felt most of the responses had to do with the original post.

The bowls listed were not, were not, representing four bowls, but bowl projections from various projectors. I do not believe that the MAC will recieve any other Bowl bids this year, there are to many teams from confrences revieving more hype. The talking heads say the MAC is down, as a few teams are not wiping the floors with the many. We all have seen that some teams are honestly up this year. [/b]
