-wow, what a pathetic effort. At first I feel the need to blame the weather. However, it didn't seem to bother your boys very much (though we did seem to be throwing into the wind an awful lot. I swear, I think the wind direction changed everyt ime we took over!). Anyway, I think tonight was a combination of soggy weather, sloppy play on our part, and you capitalizing on said sloppy play. Congrats. You guys brought the effort tonight

You know, I noticed that you guys were throwing into the wind an awful, awful lot too. Still, though, I think BG was pumped to finally be back at 100% for the first time all year. Omar coming back was huge, and so was having P.J. back to 100%. P.J. really controlled the game.

I wouldn't hang your head too low on your team. Yes, BG has had more than its share of tribulations this year, but we got a boost from a lot of factors that had nothing to do with Miami playing poorly. It really is too bad that one team had to lose this game because there was so much on the line - a division and conference title opportunity and a bowl opportunity. I really wish that both teams could have gone on to play in bowls this year, but this is why we play the game.

Think of it this way, Miami fans can't feel nearly as bad as BG fans did in 2003 after we lost to you guys TWICE! Still, it is nice to be on the winning side in this matchup, I have to admit.

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan
