Schedules
"I can't talk now, I'm looking at a handsome man in this spoon"
Nope, and anyone that says they are, wrong. With the addition of "transition" member Temple, all schedules have to be re-done.

"Miami vs. Ohio State" was a weird choice for that poll. I think "Miami vs. Cincinnati" is the only rivalry that even comes close to giving our next game a run for its money.
On future schedules: I'm gonna part company with BGDrew here. I suspect it is already known who we will play next year in conference play. I wouldn't think they'd have to tear up the schedule until 2007, when Temple begins full conference play.
I think the goal next year is for Temple to play six MAC opponents. These games will not count in the standings, and will not count against the eight games MAC schools now play in their conference schedules.
As far as nonconference games: What we know is included in the media guide at www.bgsufalcons.com. Better yet: Check the weekly news release, which also includes our future nonconference schedule. It's on one of the first few pages, in a black box.

Schade is right, I believe. I think Temple's additional MAC games will be scheduled with conference teams with holes in their OOC schedule. BG has no such holes.
BTW, we really did a good job cobbling together our schedule for next year: Good thread on our likely 2006 schedule
