Pics from the Miami game.

Post by PGY Tiercel »

What can I say other than what a great day yesterday was. UK Peregrine and I pulled in to Oxford about 12:30, picked up some bagel sandwiches and headed to the parking lot. this being 1:00 we were the only ones there, so we ate, walked aroung in the stadium, went back to the car and went to a bar. Drank some good beers there until about 3:00 and re-rolled into the parking lot. Finally another BG fan was there. We spent the next hour or two talking with Lou O'Drobinek (that may be spelled wrong but anyways, Sean's dad) Got some good chili cooking and drank some beers. Met a great guy from Germany, who will hopefully stop by the AZZ tent for the Toledo game. After heading back to the car for round two of tailgating met many more BG fans. UK and Metz tried to drive off on a parked Forklift they found a key too, drank more beer, and killed a bottle of bourbon. As I said earlier we had a great time down in the front with the students and tossing people about. Got completely soaked but with the score what it was who cared. While it might have been nice to not have driven home, at least I brought an extra set of clothes, and since I was soaked down to the bone, thankfully parked in the back with no-one else around.
After last night, I am dissapointed to live so far away and won't be able to make either the toledo game or MACC. All I have to say is cheer on a win, so we can meet again at a bowl game.

I have uploaded a bunch of pictures and Grant has set up a Miami album. Enjoy

He's ALWAYS on TV. And he's definitely set the record for the most times appearing on the jumbo-tron at the Doyt. Way to go, dude. 8)

The scoreboard looked nice on TV... and it counts very well by two's

I was very impressed with the stadium. That was the first time I've been to Oxford and i thought it was very nice. The scoreboard was awesome. I like the big entrance with the metal gates and brick with the open area. The big M on top of the scoreboard all light up was cool. Field and stands were good. And the best of it was BG running off the field with a 28 point win!
