It seems like just a couple of days ago I was getting fired up for the Wisconsin game. Now it's wait 'til next year. Such high hopes dashed, such potential unfulfilled. It's more than a little sad for us BG fans.
BTW, Akron representing the East in the MACC will be lame.
Of course BG may play again, but right now I can't comprehend it.

We aren't even the best team in Northwest Ohio, and haven't been for the past two season. The only thing I can say about Akron is, they did beat us head-to-head and they got the help they needed. A lot of people dismiss how critical getting help from other teams can be, but look how big it has been even this past week for Akron. With that said, look how big of help a Kent State win would be for BG. I can't see it happening, but this is why you ALWAYS want the help from other teams no matter how well you are playing. Akron slipped past Buffalo and NIU this year, and the last week had gotten about every single break to go their way.
