Nah, we did struggle in the first half. Our only TD was on a Magner throwback to Harris. That team actually played BETTER as the game went along.

Well, that game was at BG and he only won 31-23 and was behind 14-7 at halftime. I can live with that if he wins a few close ones at BG from time to time. It's bound to happen.

Hmmm. Interesting perspective. I felt like we had control of the game for practically the entire second half. Either way, I'll take a "close" win every time.

You did seem to have control of the whole 2nd half. Our Lou West Defense (Sit 15 yards off the line of scrimmage and let them nickel and dime you) did us in. It also did us in against Ball State that year.

Anyway, Toledo seemed to control the first half of the game. And in the end Toledo had the ball with about a minute left with a chance to score and tie the game with a 2 point conversion. That is considered close in my book.
