Nah, we did struggle in the first half. Our only TD was on a Magner throwback to Harris. That team actually played BETTER as the game went along.

You did seem to have control of the whole 2nd half. Our Lou West Defense (Sit 15 yards off the line of scrimmage and let them nickel and dime you) did us in. It also did us in against Ball State that year.

Anyway, Toledo seemed to control the first half of the game. And in the end Toledo had the ball with about a minute left with a chance to score and tie the game with a 2 point conversion. That is considered close in my book. :wink:

Good ol' Lou West. That whole Indiana State thing really worked out for him ... well, actually for Toledo. :lol:
