Thanks for talking me into watching these guys again. This is a great defense. Lots of speed.

That's fine. We got hosed a couple times and tell me there hasn't been a hold with all that scrambling TT has done.

Could be...the rover seems to have a lot of freedomin our defense. Martin is so quick for a 230lb LB...

After the first three wins into this six game winning streak I posted that I didn't know if we had enough offense to win against some of the better teams in the MAC. I also said maybe this defense is good enough to win those games even with a poor offense? Well that was the case tonight. Defense and special teams won this game. Samuel did just enough on offense for us. Big win!

We clinched a bowl game tonight for sure.

Awesome, awesome effort tonight! Great win, and an extra 3 days to prepare for Kent State is a huge, huge edge. The Doyt better be jammed next Saturday.

I wasn't able to watch the game since I was at a work dinner, but I'll be watching the replay pretty soon. It should be available on WatchESPN in a few minutes. Takeaways from watching the live stats on my phone ...

Complete, complete win. On all fronts.
On offense, Schilz didn't have to do much to win this game, just manage and don't throw it away. Samuel and the offensive line dominated the OU defense.
On defense, as dominant as ever. Every time it looked like OU was going to get back into the game, the D put the kitties back in their sandbox.
Special teams!! Blocked kicks! Awesome!

This is an incredible team. They don't have the eye popping stats of the 2003 and 2004 years, but they are as complete of a team as ever. 6 straight wins, and now they're eyeing number 7. Kent State is the best team in the conference on our schedule. This team is coming together at just the right time. Knock off Kent, follow it up with UB, and you guys will see me in Detroit.

GO FALCONS!!
