Yes - that's correct. There's a no-contact period in HS that begins the day following the season's finish. It lasts 28 days. In basketball, baseball, and softball, there's an additional no-contact period counting 28 days back from Labor Day.

During a No-Contact Period, school coaches are not permitted to have sport related contact with players that played for their school teams (7-12) during the previous season. This “sport related contact” includes:
Conducting Open Gyms/Open Fields/Open Facilities for individuals that played for the school teams (7-12) the
previous season.
Physical Conditioning Programs
Viewing Video/films
BGSU Class of 2010
Bachelor of Music - Music Education

Forever a Falcon!

ROLL ALONG!!!!

Thanks, I thought I was just making this up out of nowhere. It turns out I was just making it up, but atleast it came from somewhere.

You already have a "we love Dino " chant going at the basketball game
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

A couple of thoughts.

Bayer is gone and we don't really have a pass catching TE behind him that saw a ton of time. The EIU offense doesn't even list TE on the 2 deep. http://www.eiupanthers.com/custompages/ ... hChart.pdf and only has one on the entire roster who was recruited prior to Babers going there.

This doesnt mean he will be able to or want to run the same offense but if we have a WR group of Gallon-Burbrink-Moore-Dieter and Jackson that's going to get immediate results so the TE will probably be phased out. (It will be interesting to see what that means for the newly recruited TE from last week).

The other thing to think about is transfers from EIU. If you are moving up do you have to sit out a year? He had 2 redshirt Freshman start this year (WR and RT) that I bet would be interested in joining the flock.

Losing Bayer/Beck was going to be a big loss but this offense will pretty much take away the sting of those losses.

His children were at the press conference.
Were you there?

Yes, and they were also at the women's basketball game this afternoon! Why do you ask? I don't just post to post, like some people!

I find it hard to believe we're on the eighth page of this thread and no one has started a list of potential replacements for Coach Babers when he leaves.
