I just think it's ridiculous to rip up that beautiful grass because of one lousy season.
I keep hearing that it's impossible to maintain grass in the former swamp, but weren't we a former swamp 4 years ago when we were winning awards for our turf!?
It'll save money in the long run, and it IS possible that we could use the Doyt for other revenue producing events. Still, I'd much rather keep the Grass; football was meant for grass, period.

I think it might just be an illusion, unless you saw something before I looked. That or they could be putting panels of that brick facing on the east side of the building.
Judging by the path worn across the center of the field, there have been a lot of folks running stairs this spring...

I recall when Josh was still playing for us, only three or so years ago, the school had to put mutiple tons of sand down on the field to keep it from being torn up. With the rain, extreme cold that brings snow early up there, it makes sense to me to go to turf.
Anyone remember that? I welcome field turf, it will be a great finish to the Sebo. Also, the grass is always going to look like that before the guys start playing on it. Once it gets cold, the grass is going to rip up like it always does.
Not happy to hear about the lack of offense during the spring. I hope the skill players step up and start playing good solid football.
I was just wondering if there was an archive of images from the camera over time, maybe even searchable? I know it would be a long shot because of the sheer amount of images, but I thought it might be cool to go back and check out the Sebo coming together in stages.
Like I said, I doubt it.
But hey, it never hurts to ask, right?

While booting up the Sebo cam this a.m., I noticed what appeared to be perhaps the LARGEST crane I've seen since construction began. Anyone have any idea what's going on?
