Ok, Gator bitch..... it sucked to see Urban Meyer leave here, but it must have really sucked to watch him school The Vest like that.

So far as BG goes, we get quite a lot out of our limited resources. I'd say that on our a dollar for dollar basis, our achievements are far more impressive than the cow college's

 That made me laugh out loud!

I have to admit, it would be a heckuva lot more impressive if the Nittany Lion marching did a script Pennsylvania.
In high school, we (the marching band) did script SYLVANIA.
It was pretty amazing. And it took about 15 minutes!

Thanks again everybody. Hopefully I'll meet some of you tomorrow!!

hey oh so famous writer of this article!

I am an Alumn and I skipped going back for Homecoming to watch the Buckeyes rip open Minnesota!!

It was much more fun than going to a boring BG game!

99% of people who go to BG that care about football, grew up a OSU fan or a Michigan fan. Most of those folks never even heard of BG until they had to start looking for colleges to further their education. They are at BG to have the college experience and to prepare for a future career. They don't give a crap about BG football. Only the 25 people who post regularly on here care and most of them aren't even students anymore. BG games, to most, are just something to do until OSU starts when they have 3:30 kick off or later. Thats all they will ever be.

It is time for BG fans to quit crying and start realizing that it is always going to be this way.

Move on.

When we put 20.5K in the stands against a small school like WKU, then I'd say more than 25 people care about BG Football. Lets not forget those people who were at this game missed the OSU game as well! But you have to remember this site is a really small sampling of BG football fans.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Please enjoy this while it lasts numb-nuts. I will go on record at this point in time and state that tOSU will NOT win the "open for further debate" National Championship - heck - they won't even beat my Wolverines! :D Stay in front of your TV and continue pretending to be a Buck-nut.

Unfortunately for the Gators, they got caught sleepwalking through a conference game. You can't do that and win in the SEC. Fortunately for OSU, they can sleepwalk through most of the Big 10. They better not do it next week, though.

Had do you sleep walk against Auburn 2 years in a row? Michigan will lose, and Hart will be shut down by The Ohio State University defense.

1. I pity those who live in Ohio and have so little knowlege of higher education that they would be unaware of state university with around 20,000 students. It is amazing that they even made it through high school.

2. As a student I worked many women's & men's basketball games and some hockey games. It is very unfortunate you did not have the opportunity to meet the loyal fan base that followed the programs. The passion may not be as great but the love is still there for "their" university. Some do not return often but when they see a student who works games they often share that passion and assure you that they are watching the scores and keeping up as much as they can (pre-internet). Those people are priceless and I miss them the most now that portion of my involvement is done.

3. I think the unfortunate part of your views is that you have done nothing to make you alma mater better. You are one of the dime a dozen critics that will be able to tell us for years what is wrong with BG. You will also be the same thing to your next alma mater the OSU - a dime a dozen. You will be able to criticize them, talk about them and even be positive yet you will probably never do anything to make it a better place. At some point in your life I hope you will find what you need and take all you wasted energies and put it toward something that will enhance some portion of the world. Simply buying game tickets, team logo clothing and a membership card to a booster organization will accomplish little. I hope all you venom will eventually lead you away from BG and onto the great destination you are headed with something to add to that community. You are always welcome home but you seem to feel you are too big for BG now although I believe the positive advances in the world are best felt in small places. Enjoy yourself - life is too short to hate us for loving who we are.

4. For the rest of us we must continue on from here. This sorry display only encourages me to become more involved with the Falcon Club and promoting the greatness of my alma mater. We have something special that we love and some will never see the beauty. Those at BG are special regardless of the notice we get from the world or number of orange t-shirts worn on Saturday.

5. Tek is just another example of why we must continue to show passion and support for our university. He missed out and we must continue with such articles to awaken the loyalty in other Falcon students. We can spend our energies on feeling bad for or complaining about those we lost or we can continue working toward bringing more into the fold. IMHO those who are lost are for the most part lost and our energies are better spent on the next crop of Falcon students to advance what is Bowling Green State University.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Same here, luckily only saw three people wearing osu gear at the Temple game, but thats still three too many. I'll never understand why people go to games and wear gear of teams in the same sport that aren't playing in the game your at. The only college gear that should be seen at the Doyt on Saturday should be BG and WKU
I'll fess up, I've been "that guy" plenty of times. I tihnk I understand your implied point...If I go to a game for a team I care about I wear their apparel, but other games that I don't have much of a rooting interest, I just go because I'm a fan of the game, I'll wear my schools stuff. I'll go to vt games wearing UVA or BG stuff...Gonna be wearing a Cubs jersey at the Red Sox game on Friday.

I've worn BG gear at Michigan games a number of times...the only comments I hear are positive.

Of course he can. This is what people do when their self esteem is linked directly to the success or failure of a sports team.
na. I am a big Miami Dolphins fan. They suck. My self esteem has not suffered.

I am also a big Blue Jackets fan, and a Reds fan. All are pretty bad teams. I still do not suffer any loss of self esteem.

Maybe that is why you are so uptight? UT is pretty bad. Your self esteem must be effected by the way your teams play? It doesn't bother me. Maybe it bothers you?
Nope. Just checked the gauge and my self esteem is solidly intact. In fact it almost always gets a little boost after I read your posts. Having no need to constantly post negative stuff here kinda confirms that. But BG appears to be back and you may want to consider breaking out your orange Bowling Green shorts again-we'd all like to see another picture. Oh, shoot-there goes my self esteem dropping again. Gotta stop picking on little kids with low self esteem. ;-)

We don't play Northwestern next week, or this entire year. I like where you heart's at, but we'd go 2-6 at best in the Big Ten.

well "sleep walking against Auburn" didn't hurt there title chances last year, may be they are taking the same approach.

After seeing the outcomes from all the big games yesterday, I say that no team will go undefeated this year
