I'm sorry...you people are seeing things that aren't there. On the very last sequence of the Kent game Schilz hit Joplin with a strike at the five that he couldn't handle. Then he hit Gallon with a bubble screen that got stuffed. On third down he threaded the needle between two defenders to Bayer...it was a touch behind him...but if it had more lead on it Kent picks it or bayer is killed...the ball hit him in the hands. Bayer couldn't control it because he's still running the route into the middle. Had he stopped , it's six. On 4th down he throws the pick in the end zone, but he had to throw it up for grabs as there were three pass rushers about to crush him. I don't think you can fault the QB for any of that.
The one play in the last minute or so where he did throw over Bayer's head came back on the 25 after he had spun away from an untouched blitz from Kent State's #43. He missed him..but not by much...

Re: Buffalo game
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: Buffalo game
I don't think he ever looks scared. He looks great when his first read is there. For whatever reason he struggles if it isn't.
