Perhaps looking to bring in some competition. Would have three years of eligibility remaining, I think. I lose track these days.
He's also visiting Buffalo.

Is Jayden George a walk on? How about Drew Gunther?

I think Drew Gunther was hurt for much of offseason or maybe season. Point is not seeing him at all this season may not be reflective of his position on the depth chart but rather injury.

I appreciate all the portal info updates some of you are providing with guys leaving (hopefully no more of those), guys coming in, guys we have offered, etc. This thread has been extremely informative and honestly, it's probably the most informative place to keep tabs on BG's movements with all of this right now.
GO BG!!!

Pretty sure Gunther is scholarship. He was injured for a time in spring. George is walk on. Neither travel or get many, if any practice reps. Gunther throws better than most. Since McDonald has been in the offense going on 7 years, he is the only one not confused by the offense and its strict and detailed footwork requirements. Definitely not a come in and sling it situation.

I miss the days under Meyer and Brandon when we played sandlot ball and scored virtually at will.

Hopefully...we'll land at least a couple of those portal (ble) OL. We sorely need them

Rozanc announced this evening he's committed to BGSU. Not sure if he'll punt or kick.

Lawler can kick and punt. I suspect he will be the one to beat out. He’s a great athlete.

I suspect he's going to handle FG's and PAT's as that's what he's done for several years at West Liberty, while also recently handing some punting duties. He had a really poor year this past season (4-12), but looking back at his previous years, he had much better numbers. So his entire body of work looks pretty good. Hopefully he bounces back next year for BG. Either way, with the season Needham turned in, we're almost assured of falling back in kicking no matter who fills the spot. I just hope whoever our kicker is, that they're at least good. We've had some awful seasons for kickers and this season sure showed how nice it is to have someone who can consistently split the uprights. It's a huge benefit when you have a good team and a kicker you can count on, like BG had with Tate during its 3-year MAC Championship run (2013-15).
GO BG!!!

I've not heard who the new STs coach is. I have to wonder, if a new kicker is signing, do we already have one but hasn't been announced?

Offer out to Abilene Christian transfer, Bronson Warner. Big dude at 6’3” 320. Played in seven games as a RS freshman. Had several offers from high level FCS programs but BG looks to be his first FBS.

Offer in for Rutgers QB Cole Snyder. He had an official visit over the weekend.
