If the fairgrounds are in a dry county then they are in trouble with the Tractor Pulls every year. My band was the headliner their this past year and let me tell ya them folks sure get their drink on!

It's a dry township, as the county is still Wood County. Also, being a dry region generally means you cannot legally sell alcohol in the region. As far as I know, it has no restrictions on the ability to consume alcohol.

I meant township not county! Must of been tired last night! But I guess that makes sense its a dry township as I don't believe I have ever really seen them selling beer there.

Bingo. Dry means no sale. Think that many people would be THAT drunk if they were selling it for $4 a glass? Liquor license means liability which would end the outside beer coming in.

I drove past the stadium this morning on my way into work, and there is a crane and other equipment working on the scoreboard, taking it apart. The team was also out practicing. If anybody with a camera happens to go by there today, you may want to take and post a picture of the progress.

I was out yesterday and watched part of Pro Scout Day, and the bottom level (scoreboard section) was up and one section of video board, or at least that is what it looked like to me.

Okay, then perhaps it was assembly that was occurring, not disassembly. I couldn't tell as the crane was not moving at the moment.

Photo 1 in this album gives a small peak. Looks like they still might be working on it.

New video board was on at 6AM today. People driving south on 75 will be able to watch games.

Don't people need to be aware that BG has a football team in order to watch the hand.

The board was running during the scrimmage this morning also, but just switching solid colors, red, green, blue and white periodically. Maybe that is all we have learned to program so far! ;)

Well factman, maybe it's trying to communicate visually. Ever seen Close Encounters of the Third Kind?

Apparently, nobody knows how to shut it off because it was still going this morning. It can be seen from the 75/582 area though.
