His head will explode because Babers will have something his melon squeezin' buddy Matt Campbell doesn't...a MAC trophy.

Dr Falcon...injuries were a problem last year...we were so thin at WR that Matt Schilz was playing WR at EMU...how soon we forget when we let our personal agendas cloud our thinking

DR Falcon...you brought up criminal activity w/o mentioning that the charges were dismissed. Clawson offered scholarships to and signed kids with criminal backgrounds. Your boy Matt Campbell is welcoming Suckerpunch York to UT..a transfer from Meeechigan with an assaut conviction. Clawson took in transfers too...Stokes didn't pan out...but there were other JUCO's.

You posted this....
He lives in Perrysburg and shops at the same grocery store, Churchhills, as I do. Three of his players work for my friend's company in the summer time. Talked to them multiple times and joke around about the rivalry. Coach Campbell is a great guy and said straight up Babers is a mess. The players have very little respect for BG. Coach Campbell had great respect for Clawson and felt very fortunate to beat BG last year. Said flat out they were lucky. When we lost Johnson , he said that was the end of our season. Thinks Babers is arrogant and very undisciplined in his approach and preparation. Jokingly said he wouldn't pile it on, but couldn't wait for the game to be played. Very confident in an easy win.

A UT fan that can't even troll right. Shocking
Re: BG vs Ball State
I still want an explanation as to how Jim Larranaga gets a mention in his history of awful BG coaches, and Louis Orr (worst of my lifetime) isn't mentioned?

No Dr Falcon what bothers me is that you're slimy...your friend doesn't get the job so you jump all over the guy who did the first chance you get with a set of distortions and lies. The AD didn't view your buddy as the right candidate to be the HC...he hired somebody with HC experience. Get over it. Do I have some concerns with how Babers is handling things? yes...but I'm not going say s**t that isn't true like "Clawson didn't recruit kids with records" or "recruiting is suffering under Babers" "we didn't have injuries like this under Clawson" to make the current coach look bad.

Re: BG vs Ball State
Fair enough. Larranaga teams choked in several big games, and the MAC was a completely different animal in those days. Totally agree in terms of Orr. Orr's staff the final 3 years was embarrassing. As far as Babers goes, the MAC title game will show me alot. Yesterday was a coaching disaster. Why not play a different QB? Why run both Greene and Coppet once the game got away? If either is out on Friday he should be asked non-stop as to why they played that late in the game.

So you keep making excuses and protecting your boy.

The world is full of nonsupporters and backbiters – people who chew on wet rags......Bob Dylan.
Dr Falcon..I listed three things that you lied about/distorted re Babers /Clawson in the very paragraph you quoted. It's not my fault if you can't read. Maybe you did go to UT.
Regardless...as I've said many times, I take issue with people like you who take to the internet to jump on people and criticize because they have an agenda...their feelings are hurt or they don't like someone personally...whatever the reason. You have an axe to grind over your friend not getting hired so you're going to come on here and talk a lot s**t against Babers..hell, you even suggested that the AD get fired for hiring him. The man is playing for a league title with a back up QB (when he lost the league's best QB) and you want to run him out of town and the man who hired him too?And you wonder why I think your opinion is worthless? You come onto a fan message board and talk s**t about the coach while talking up our arch rival...and you wonder why people react negatively to you ? Again...maybe you did go to UT.
The bottom line is this...you want to criticize specific issues with the coach....not making a change at QB, making curious offensive play calls like throwing deep sideline routes and largely ignoring intermediate passes over the middle....allowing the DC to continue to allow teams carve us up with stop routes...I get that and I would agree. Coming on here and talking about how great UT is what a confused bumpkin our HC is when he's in the middle of his first season....and you do that because you're feelings are hurt because your friend got passed over for the job....that's another story.

Re: BG vs Ball State
How am I defensive about anything...I listed like three or four glaring concerns about the team..My issue isn't with Babers...Clawson...Campbell..Kingston or anyone but you. You came here with a bias against Babers because he got the job instead of your friend. If you had come right out from the get go and said that you wanted Durkin to be hired and not Babers and then started yapping I could respect that. But you start off like little sneak spreading produce aisle gossip like some housewife and you talk up our rivals to boot. You can keep making snide little suggestions about me all you want...I really don't care. At least I'm honest enough to state my opinions and motives and not sneak around.
And so far as Babers resume goes...it's better than Durkin's. Given the choice, I'll take the guy who's been a HC over a guy who's been a coordinator every time. If Durkin didn't have connections here would anyone have even brought his name up?
