Did you happen to catch Senior Bowl practices on ESPN all week leading up to the game? I thought it was pretty well-known since it was broadcast for a full week on ESPN, but I should know better...you guys are the ones that know more about the draft than I do. But in actuality you don't really know what he does, so you shouldn't comment. It just makes you ignorant. And probably why he wasn't physically on the field for most practices is because he was up in a booth broadcasting most of them on ESPN.

All of us watch a ton of college football, and in doing so we form our own opinions. Just because we haven't taken the time to put together a website to display them doesn't mean they're any more or less valid than your own. Even among the group of scouts & GMs you can rest assured that there will be disagreements about certain players...that's just the way it works.
Regardless, I took the time to do it while you guys choose not to. That obviously shows I have a passion for it far greater than you, so you should have the respect not to publicly blast the person for a ranking or two. Let me ask you a couple questions, since I can't find it on your website. Please give me your personal profile. What is your history with the NFL draft? Are you a scout? How old are you? What, other than communicating with other 'draft experts' do you have experience with evaluating NFL prospects? Or at least compared to a person, who has watched football for years. What seperates you to the average football fan?
No one that you run across is actually a "scout" unless they actually have that title. People that run draft websites are usually pretty similar....they have years of experience in watching and scouting players, while not actually being a credentialed scout. What seperates these people from the average fan? I guaran-damn-tee you don't watch as much film on these players, because the requirement to make an actually fair assessment of a player is far greater than the average fan sitting down and watching a game and "doi, he looks awesome.". And I'm 25 and I started out writing for a couple draft websites before branching off my own. How about some credentials from the people giving me such a hard time now? Besides watching it on Saturday, what do you do that makes your opinion greater than mine? I'm interested in hearing. For example, you told me that Michael Vick was 20 times better of a passer than Vince Young coming out of college, yet you don't give any facts or reason's why. You just point out that we don't know enough about football. Give us specific reasons. I gave you facts to why I thought Vince Young was a better passer coming out of college.
Myself. I've been following the draft since the late 80s, more specifically for the Steelers. I'm about 8 years older than you and have seen the different styles of offense (wishbone, run and shoot, power I, spread, etc...). Maybe I'll join your forum to show you how to communicate better in writing and teach you a lesson or two about evaluating a player.
I can't write a song but it doesn't mean I can't think Ashlee Simpson sucks.

All I'm going to say about this ego trip you're on is this. A few months ago, I said that Jay Cutler was the third best pro prospect behind Leinart and Young. You basically told me I was an idiot for thinking that and just because you said so. I don't have a website (not that I couldn't make one in an afternoon), but I was right on that one and you were wrong. BFD. Sometimes you're right and some times you're not. If you expect to be a pseudo-scout and be right all the time with no opposition, you need to wake up.
Having a website does not make you infallible. Nobody around here seeked you out to criticize you. You asked for some opinions, and when you got them you threw a hissy-fit. Behavior like this is not likely to earn you anything around here.
