Mr. Krebs has been an incredible asset to BGSU and he will be missed. I understand 100% why he is leaving and I do not blame him one bit. I wish him and his family all the best.
I trust that Dr. Ribeau and staff will find a worthy replacement and the athletic program will continue to prosper under new leadership.

yeah, I just found that comment, too.
I still wish him luck, but a line like that comes awfully close to Mrs. Meyer's husband territory. Why the slap in the face, Paul? I can go out and buy a puppy real quick if you want to kick him, too...

That was a boderline dickish thing to say. Why not just say "the MWC has facilities and athletic and educational opportunities on par with BCS conferences" instead of taking a shot at us?
Exactly, Flip. I hate to bash him for a quote in the paper, especially with all he's done to get BG athletics back on the map, but if one of the leading flag carriers for the MAC is going to come out and say crap like that, what chance does the conference have?

Just speculation - maybe that comment had something to do with how the MAC has treated BG athletics recently? (late first home FB game last year, forced PPD of Boise State game this year, forced switching of divisions back-and-forth) - maybe it's a shot at the conference itself as opposed to the individual schools?

I saw that quote this morning too and thought the same as many of you. I wish him the best of luck and all, but I could have done without seeing that comment made.
