I always get you need to root for a team in the state at least boy, it drives me nuts. But I also root for the Nets, Arizona Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, and New Jersey Devils and I dont get s**t for that
That is quite pathetic, they are obviously not real college football fans. All of the fans on the Buckeyes board even know that BG is in Ohio. Many of them even root for BG because they like to see all the Ohio teams do well.
Its really pathetic that anyone within Ohio wouldn't know where we're located. Maybe we need to put that (OH) behind our name like Miami does
when I was at my job interview in Indianapolis, surrounded by BallsTate grads, nonetheless, I *still* had 2 or 3 people ask if it was Bowling Green, KY...

I've never heard anyone mistake BGSU for a Kentucky school. Here in north central Ohio, I doubt most people have even heard of Bowling Green, Ky.
Just because a few people make the mistake of thinking BGSU is in Ky isn't any reason for us to get all insecure. Imagine if we were Miami and always had to put an (OH) behind our name 8)

A lot of people think BGSU is in Kentucky. I travel all across the country with work, especially in ACC land, and I come across WAY more people that think BG is in Kentucky than those who actually know it's in Ohio. I am actually stunned when when someone out of state actually gets it right and knows that BGSU is in Ohio.
We had on CNN earlier today and they were talking about where Kerry would be at today and they said something like "He will be in Bowling Green, KY and then going by bus to Detroit." This wasn't some dumba$$, so-called college football fan. It was CNN screwing it up Guess we should have had it on FoxNews, bet they got it right.

Its as if the other MAJOR NEWS NETWORKS ARENT ALREADY PULLING FOR ANYONE that the Democratic Party puts on the ballot. One little network pulls for a Republican and all hell breaks loose... next thing you'll say is that you hate Toby Keith!

Journalists always hope to cover a competitive race.
I wish there was a liberal equivalent to the Fox News network.
Michelle and I can definitely relate to the Kentucky reference. We were vacationing in Florida in November of 2002. We had planned our vacation around going to the BGSU-South Florida game in Tampa the Saturday we were down there. We were walking around down there with our Orange Bowling Green shirts on and someone asked us, "Isn't that where they make the Corvettes?" We politely set them straight.
Roll Along You BG Warriors!
Roll Along And Win For BGSU!

There isn't.
You cant be serious???
ABC... CBS... NBC... CNN... CNBC... MSNBC...
Liberal Bias in the media is ridiculous...
All Fox has done is tapped into a very large target audience and everyone goes on and on about how "republican" they are.... they just arent as liberal as the other networks... so that makes Fox News "Conserative"

I think we can all agree that there are biases everywhere and people on this board support at least one of the candidates for president.
Now if you want to piss on each other about it, go to a Politics board somewhere. This site is about SPORTS
