this may be a BGSU forum, but i'll always feel free to speak my mind about the buckeyes. I'm sittin at home 10 minutes away from the 'shoe on my fall break, and this town feels like it is hyperventilating. Scarlet and gray has been stuffed down my throat since i was born. When they choke to the team BG beat last yr in the motor city bowl it's priceless. When they do it in the 'shoe it's priceless. However, as a Brown's fan (yes i'll talk about them too) i can sympathize with buckeye fans because both teams are similarly stagnant, unexciting and usually frustrating.

.....as I have said.......I wish the WHOLE Big 10 would go 5-5 or 5-6 or whatever, and throw in ND into the pile too. You would see MAC attendance rise a whole lot, as all of the "hangers on" jumped off of the wagon!!!

True, this is BGSU board. Thats why we are here. The common trait between us all is BGSU. But if that means we cant talk about anything else or any other team, that is just plain stupid. As much as I love the Falcons, adn BGSU, If there was no viriety in out threads, I would get pretty sick of them. Variety is good. Venting about how much we dislike soemthing, and laughing at it/thier/osu's shortcomings are a great way to HAVE FUN AND LIGHTEN UP. The thread was title "osu" clearly it will be about said craphole. If you dont want to read it, dont. If you dont like that looks of a thread ignore it. Its not hard. just dont read it. I do it all the time, as I imagine others do. Thats why the threads have titles, so you can see if you want to read it b4 you open it.

if osu loses to Iowa, they will be sitting at home this december. Thats what I say. They cannot beat UM or Purdue. MSU will be a challenge, and PSU and Ill/IN (cant remember which one) will also fall the the might of the ohio st. hairless nuts. SO that makes them 5-6 or 6-5. MSU needs to pull a win too I guess then. But I think Um and Purdue will win handily over the suckeyes.

I must admit I am enjoying this simply cuz I can walk into work tomorrow with my head held high while I watch all the OSU fans squirm and spin this to death. The Bucks are in trouble...I see them finishing 6-5, at best. And Zwick is one of the most overrated QB's I've seen in some time. He looks like he doesn't have a clue out there. I would tee off on that kid almost every play.
The OSU defense isn't nearly at strong as last yr. And all these OSU fans I work with kept telling me the Bucks would go 10-1 or 9-2???

After losing 14 players to the NFL?
One guy at work gave me crap about us losing to NIU....he hasn't said a word since then.

And I can't wait to see him tomorrow.
When the Bucks are crammed down yer throat every day in this state, its times like these that are fun!

Freak, you are 100% correct. Living in Ohio, as much as I love it, really sucks when the suckeyes are doing well. No one shuts up about it, and if you disagree, well then you are an ahole for doign so. As the bucks lose more and more, Ohio becomes a safer place to live.

I wouldn't say that Zwick is real overrated though. Nobody thinks he's any good, except for maybe Tressel. If you are saying he was overrated coming out of HS, then it appears that you are right. For right now I don't know of too many OSU fans that think he's any good. In fact I've heard the name Bellisari mentioned more than once in reference to JZ! YIKES!

I was shocked there wasn't some type of riot. If they lose next week, things could start to get real ugly in C-town...

I had never seen him play, but I seem to remember there was some shady things going on with him transferring and stuff. He & Troy Smith were both pretty highly touted prospects out of HS. Not sure if its the coaching staff or the system in general that causes it but they have not been able to develop QBs at all lately down there.
