I think he just feels like the game is going 500mph. If he could slow things down and know the plays better, he could be the calm, cool and collected Omar that we all know. I think he has a good shot to make it because Boyd is so bad.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
The Steelers ARE a better team than SF, but their offense doesn't put up a HUGE amount of statistics.
Their defense is great, and their offense lends itself to running the ball very well. But, even Big Ben doesn't make a regular habit of sending the ball down field. The biggest thing that will get you canned from a job as a Steelers QB is interceptions.
Beyond that, the steelers don't put up great passing statistics. Even with Big Ben as the QB they don't. I only say this because I do think that Omar's passing stats will never look fantastic in Pittsburgh, no matter how good he becomes.
