Yup. What I was getting at, is unless they come out and have an awful game, flat and shoeless, I think UT might be the ONLY loss they get. WMU can most likely be removed from the equation. (Although they HAVE scored 26 on that vaunted UT defense...orangeandbrown wrote:Right, and that's half of the losses we need for NIU to get.
bright side
hey, look on the bright side...if they can get nearly get beat by UCF, than they are capable of slipping up down the road.
Did Haldi play? Why was it close!?

Haldi played and he was rusty. The radio duu (who cant always be trusted) said he was off on most of his passes and the WR's were bailing him out. Haldi ended up throwing 3 INT's, 1 was returned for a td the other 2 NIU was driving deep in UCF territory. NIU got up and just put it on cruise control except UCF fought back.

I think CMU can beat NIU... I hope. CMU stopped our running game pretty much, maybe they can do the same to NIU. Our game against CMU may have been a little different haad their QB not gotten injured, not saying they would have won, but might have been a little bit closer. They did win time of possession, and can definately can give NIU some problems.
I hope so too, but I seriously doubt it. I think last night will be NIU's wake-up call and they will hammer CMU. Western wraps up a 3-game homestand against NIU in 2 weeks. At that time, they should be playing their best ball of the year and beating NIU could save Darnell's job. Given that NIU has been pitiful on the road to this point, I think that may be the shocker we need.GoFalcons4 wrote:I think CMU can beat NIU... I hope.
