I do know that now that he's in the program, if he stays eligible, we're going to regret that decision to pass on him for quite some time. From the vids I saw last year I thought he lookedl ike the best recruit to come into the MAC. Probably one of the best over the last 3-4 years. Kid can play...hopefully testicle tech struggles to keep him eligible when we're playing them
MAC Thread for Thursday night
As I said during the recruiting season Nate Davis is going to be an absolute STAR in the MAC. I don't know how he didn't get Big10 looks. I know BG & UT soured on him for academic reasons, so maybe that's why the Big10 didn't look his way either, don't really know.

Hammb, I remember you were one of many on this board to be really high on Nate Davis, he certainly looked the part tonight from what I could. It will be interesting to see if Hoke decides to start him over Senior Joey Lynch... If they do I think they could upset Purdue this year! Purdue is a great team with a HORRIBLE secondary, so that could mean a field day for Davis!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

Yes, but they were down 13-0 when he came in and a proven solid QB in Joey Lynch only went 10-20 against that same EMU team!

Yes, and what a GREAT comeback by UT to force OT on the road in the season opener!
