Minnesota took Temple behind the woodshed and back, 62-0. If it weren't for Kent's showing currently in Oxford, that 10/7 Flashes vs. Owls matchup could have been hideous.

Miami(OH) facing 4th and 5 with 2:00 or so left, at Kent's 15 down 16-8.

They did win. For any of you who saw more of this game than I did, is Kent that good, or is Miami just that bad? From what little I saw, it seems to be the latter. Methinks they have some problems down in Oxford.

Also, did anyone notice Kent's running back? I really don't mean to be a jerk, but I saw him standing next to the linemen, and I swear he looked like a midget. Eugene Jarvis - he's 5-5.

I watched most of the game on Fox and while I think Kent is improving, Miami is in serious trouble this year. Their QB, Kogel (sp?) is not very effective and they have no running game at all. This is actually a good thing that Kent won...gives Miami a MAC loss and a home MAC loss to boot. BG better be ready cuz Kent can beat us if we don't play our A game. The MAC is pretty even all over. Ball State played pretty well today losing by 10 to Purdue and seeing Akron go down to CMU is GREAT. CMU is gonna be a serious threat in the West and a very tough game for us in Oct.

WMU, last I saw, was leading Virginia 14-10 in the 3rd!!! Ohio getting beat by Rutgers, 24-7 in the 3rd.

ALMOST TIME FOR KICKOFF!!! GO FALCONS!! BEAT FIU!!!
