Some very positive quotes coming out of our players after the game:

They took this game for what it was, gave it their best and are ready to roll along. I'm VERY excited to see what they can do over the next two months.

The kid's humble. That was a hell of a catch and I'd go so far as to say that was CP's drive. He made a clutch catch to keep it alive and made that wicked TD catch. I do like to see him spread the credit around though. Glad to see him do so well.Corey Partridge, sophomore wide receiver

I haven't re-watched the game yet but my initial impression of your D was a good one. You did in fact shut down Gonzo and I was pretty impressed with your D-lines ability to bring pressure. Your guys really left it all on the field and I love to see that. That drive in the 3rd quarter impressed the hell out of me. As for the post game comments, it is a lot harder to lose with class than it is to win with class. Respect.

Just saw the catch on SC Top Plays. My brother kept pestering me to let him turn on his XBox 360 and just didn't understand why I refused to let him.svillefalcon wrote:It was a hell of a catch and it was good enough to be #5 on the sportscenter top ten plays! congrats to corey on a fine game...

As my little sister pointed out, we lost by more to Kent State. So does that mean Kent State is better than OSU?Schadenfreude wrote:Think about it: We played them closer than we did Kent State.
The Falcons seem to be growing.
I know they are not. OSU is very talented. Ginn was amazing as was Smith, Pitcock, and everyone. I'm super excited and proud of our Falcons for putting up such a great fight.
GO FALCONS!!
