Agreed 100% I think Turner has really struggled so far this year, but it is not all his fault. This is a team game, and his receivers have clearly not been holding up their end of the bargain.
Bingo, on both counts. That's not to call out any of our players in particular, but we do have a depth issue at receiver.

I see Brandon and Stud calling plays within the abilities of this team.
SF,

Great point about the playcalling. Most of our skill folks are still very young and it takes time for them to build chemistry. They are coming together but somewhat slowly. I have no problem running the ball down an opponent's throat all day and Bullock is really turning it on. I'd love to see Winny get a few touches every game. He's a freakin battering ram.

The defense is much improved, like most of us thought it would be this season. They are really flying to the ball and hitting.

Special Teams? Coach Durkin has done an excellent job improving the ST's. Rojas' punt late in the 4th was one of the biggest plays of the game vs EMU. And please...no BS about giving Durkin credit for putting out a fire he started.

This team needs to play within its experience and abilities. I saw a lot more common sense play calling in the EMU game than the Kent game. Like it or not we don't have skill or experience of recent years. Do what we have the ability to do and take advantage of what an opponent wants to give us. For this team to go out and try to throw the ball all over the lot isn't likely to result in victory.
