Somehow, when I got back to the folks' place around 1am, the weather channel said it was 47 degrees.
No freaking way.
I was impressed with the crowd that did turn out, including an impressive student section at the outset.... and I'm impressed times infinity (plus one) of those that stayed screaming and cheering till the end. They may not have played like it for a quarter and change in the second half, but the way they marched into the wind at the end, that team deserved a better fate.
Worst Weather Ever

I would have been ok last night had I thought to wear long johns under my jeans last night. But since I didn't I got a nice reminder what stage one hypothermia feels like. I walked across the field in hopes of hearing the band play Beer Barrel, and the field was the worse I can ever remember (at least during my 4 year marching tenure). Last night was the only game I can remember being truly miserable by the end. As far as straight cold, Toledo 2001 stands out in my mind. It was just flipping cold. My valves kept freezing. I don't want to call last night the worst weather I've ever been in, but I can't really think of what I call worse.
