Some OU fan was telling us that Gradkowski was going to go in the 3rd round of the draft. Of course we all "politely" disagreed. Gradkowski may be my most overrated player of all time.

He also said some stiff from Ohio was the best receiver in the MAC, I think the best receiver failed to show up from Ohio.

And to the Ohio fan that said they were going to stomp us, who stomped who?

Factman you are correct....Anthony Turner is in the same mold as Jacobs and Harris---what a great future we have for our offense!

While we were tailgating before the game, one of Turner's teammates at CJ walked by and we asked him how good Turner was going to be and he held up his state championship ring and just said "State Champs". It was very cool.

I do see the point. You still have to execute. A couple times OU had the right play called and overthrew the wide open receiver.
Jim Kelly called the large majority of his own plays in the Bills' no huddle O.

OU's offense, while different, is still not good. They're extremely mediocre, and that's being nice. Their D has been impressive, so you hanging 41 on them is also impressive.

Actually, Ohio's receiver Scott Mayle is one of the best in the MAC and is probably one of the faster players in the MAC as well. He was in street clothes for our game due to injury.

It would be really hard to shine as a receiver at OU with their quarterbacks. It was painful to watch on some of Hawk's throws.

Not sure about BG, but Mayle wouldn't start at NIU. You have some pretty good WRs, so I'm willing to bet that he might struggle to crack your lineup, and UT has some pretty good WRs, too.

Making the change from option FB to a passing O can be a bit painful, but OU really is struggling with it. I'm sure it's a bit hit and miss.
