Thanks to all who have expressed their condolences. This is a tough time for all of our family, and to know that there are people who care makes it a little easier to go on.

Three different neighbors saw the rescue squad and just figured it was for me. She was the one who exercised, ate right and took care of herself. After 33 years to have someone you care about taken away in an instant is hard to understand. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

Mike- I am so sorry about your mom. I'm sure she was so proud of you at Graduation and for the great guy you are.

To Larry, we have never met, but I offer my sincere sympathies.

May God wrap you both in his arms and comfort you.

Metz & Ornithologist, We are so very sorry for your loss!! If there is anything we can do, please let us know. We have both been through the loss of our mothers and know how very difficult it is!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time. All of your Falcon friends are thinking of you.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Mike, I haven't checked in on this forum for a few days, and I'm very sorry for that now.

You and your father are in my prayers, and you'll both stay there for a while. I can't even begin to express the sadness I am feeling right now for you and yours.

Metz and Larry,
I've been out of town for a couple of days and just saw the tragic news on AZZ. Please know that, when you lose a loved one, your love for them never dies or fades. As someone who lost his 1st wife to cancer, I can identify with your loss. But even though I remarried in '06, Mary Ann always is in my heart and mind. I'm sure you'll find the same with your mom and wife. May God be with you and give you strength.
