Okay, I wasn't aware that the MAC did this.Falcon137 wrote:They did....this year the crossover games are meaningless and only come into play if there is a tiebreak situation. For ex. playing Toledo is like a non-conference game now.bgsufalcon24 wrote:This really couldn't be breaking any better for us. Kent is down, they were probably the scariest team in the division to us because of their vast rushing attack. Ohio is down and all but out. And the team on top is Buffalo?
Wait a minute. Buffalo has a MAC loss. They got killed by Ball State. They aren't in first, Miami and Akron are. Unless the MAC did something completely retarded with the standings this year...
If anything, that might hurt us a little bit because we'll probably beat both EMU and Toledo easily if we play a decent game against them. It's these next few games that are really important, Miami, Kent, and Akron in particular. (I think we'll take care of Ohio unless we play terribly that day) At this point I think we're in good shape, especially with Kent on the bottom looking up and Buffalo in the penthouse. You just KNOW Buffalo isn't going to be there for long, so if we can win 3 of these next four games we'll be in the drivers seat more than likely.
