WR anyone?
Body of a WR, 40-time of a Guard. :-D

I ran a 4.5 back in the day and was an all-state baseball player. Then I discovered beer. I still want no part of catching punts. You'd have to be crazy to do that s**t.

70 year old bones, in a 25 year old body....

I would be right smack dab in the middle of the muddle-huddle on the sideline...ooo it's cold outside!

Also I would be wearing the second #13 jersey because they would have ran out of numbers.

6'4" 185. It's too bad I have no athletic ability/motivation/natural talent.

I'm too short to play most positions, and way too slow for any of them. My 5'9 230 pound body screams fullback, but my weight is not muscle. Rather than muscle my weight is made up of beer, deep fried oreos, and pork.

I'm also a wuss, and am too sore from playing XBox360 to have any interest in taking the field.

I will gladly take on the role of offensive coordinator, however.

My child like speed and balance make me the perfect candidate for the kicking tee retrieval team.
You would then be the perfect complement to my best position: Kicking tee. Or if I REALLY worked hard and got in shape I could be the guy that kneels down and puts his finger on the ball when its windy.

6'5" 205. No burst of speed but I have wheels after the first 10 yards. Unfortunately, I'm winded by yard 15.

Tight end, please or a posession receiver: Dig, out, deep out, or short post. Please don't cross me in the flat. I like my head where it belongs: Attached at the shoulders. One good hit on a slant across the middle and I break out the cocktail shaker and create a drink called, "f*** dat sh!t."

It seems like a joke, but around here, we all know that fighting the wind in any capacity is a serious task.
Plenty of curls and some serious fingerweights would probably be necessary for the training.

Pleasuring the wife might do as well.

Yup, I went there.

Yup, I went there.
The best part is, I almost left off my last comment, but I knew someone would appreciate the set up, so I had to throw it in.

Well played, sir.

I weigh in at 5'9", 200 lbs, with no speed, no vertical and not nearly enough upper body strength. I think I'm best qualified to hold the coaches cords on the sidelines. Oh wait, they used wireless headsets now.... Maybe I should be an equipment manager.... I can't screw that up too bad. Oh wait, when it gets cold my hands don't work properly due to a spinal cord injury. I guess I'll just be relegated to season ticket holder and occassional complainer!

I played offensive and defensive line in high school, but that was because I was one of the bigger dudes at a small high school. Twenty-five years later at 6', 220, I think I could make a good linebacker. What kind of doctoral programs does BG offer?

That's interesting eRich. I'm 6'2", 180 lbs, and my 40 time was 5.09 as of this past September, very similar to you. Like I said in the other thread that definitely falls in the "too slow" range. Probably my best attribute is my hands. I don't drop passes very often, maybe if I have to lunge/dive for them or if its an absolute bullet I might miss it, but that's it. As possession WR, I'd probably have to work inside the numbers a lot, which a lot of receivers don't like doing. So my guess is that I'd be best suited to catching some passes within short-to-intermediate range in the spread offense (which is great given the offense we run here). Of course, working the middle I'd be taking a ton of punishment and would likely get injured at some point.
