Great Grant!!

I am planning on being there.

One question...weren't we supposed to have electric last year and it did not materialize? Just curious if we can count on that being promised this year???

I don't think it is supposed to be as cold as last year (mid 40's) so as long as the wind does not go EMU on us is we should not need a heater.

Laura was going to bring stuff to make omlettes and I was going to bring the grill to do up omlettes & stuff. Should we plan on putting that stuff out by the tent?

Should we deep fry? Tell me!!!

My dad & I were planning on being out there around 7:00 or so, and were thinking breakfast made the most sense.

No it won't.

QUESTION: Why isn't the Lorain County chapter sponsoring the Alumni Tent for this game?

Grant,

I'm a relative newbie to this site, but am planning to make the three hour trek for the Marshall game and would love to be a part of the tent, if you guys will have me

A tent sounds like a good idea. it is supposed to be 43 degrees Saturday so it might be nice to get out the cold and wind for awhile before and after the game. I promised Coach Van De Walle that I would hang around for the v-ball game Saturday night so it would be great to have something to do between games.

YOU HAVE GOT TO COME!

We don't care how new you are, we'll have plenty of grub for ya. If you want to provide input into the menu go to the menu thread. We all love to eat, drink, and converse before the game, and after sometimes too. Of coruse, as Grant stated, the more the merrier!

Come out early, get some breakfast, have a few beers, and enjoy the game!

I am going to try very hard to come! I'll probably drag a friend or two along with me, if I can get their lazy butts out of bed early...hehe

Wow, the tent is a great idea, I came up for homecoming but got there really late and didn't get a chance to meet up with you guys.

My youngest son and I will be heading up early and will arrive around 10:00am. We will definately stop by the tent and meet everyone. I will see if I can get Corey to stop by the tent after the game and maybe get him to bring his roommate Anthony over. Sound like great fun.

What time is the volleyball game? I may have to stay around for that.

Go Falcons!

I was planning on tailgating before the game so I might stop by also, though I am a relative newbie. If you guys want to run me out of there I'd understand. I'll bring some beer but can't guarantee food (and honestly wouldn't want to subject you guys to my cooking!). If you want to run me out of the tent on a rail, I'll understand!

How big is this game now? Toledo is winning, I can't help but smile -- boy do I feel dirty!

Perhaps you haven't read where we said "everyone welcome" and "the more the merrier." The only people we'll be running out of the tent...well...we wouldn't run ANYONE out of the tent unless they were being disrespectful. Everyone means EVERYONE!! :goodman:

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
