Think the MAC will squeeze in a home game for us on the 13th and/or the 27th?
According to Greg Christopher, we WILL have SIX games at the Doyt in 2008. It's a big priority of his.
So he's gonna tear up that schedule?

I'm not sure he should. It's not a bad schedule.

I know we have 6 home in 2009 and beyond but from what GC told me there wasn't much of a chance for 6 next year.

The Pitt game is closer for me to drive than a BG home game. :-D Looking forward to going to Heinz Field.

Heinz Field was one of the worst venues I've ever seen for a college game. No collegiate atmosphere at all. College games should be played on college campuses. If you are going to play Gigantic State as a home game and you need to seat 75,000 in a 30,000 seat stadium go ahead and rent a pro stadium. Otherwise keep it on campus.

I was there in 1999 when Pitt played their last season at Pitt Stadium. All I care is to see the Falcons run all over the Panthers. The lack of atmosphere will be a BG advantage. :D

I'd rather play on campus as well. The BG-Wisky at Browns Stadium in 06 was fun but I'd rather we not do that too much. Get the games in PERRY STADIUM!!!!

Not too many people would choose driving to Oakland over driving to Heinz Field.

Pitt's campus blows. At least the game will be early in the year before the field gets torn up too badly.

I was at that game in 99 as well. It started off promising that day. JH4 is correct, the Oakland section of Pittsburgh is not the best, plus it was a work out to make it up that hill to Pitt Stadium. Heinz Field is a very nice venue. It might not have the college atmosphere, but it is a good place to see the game. There is a Primanti Brothers located in side. :) The down side is Iron City and Rolling Rock.

treat the Toledo game as home game, sell it as part season ticket package & show up in force. Pretend it's bowl & spend the wkend. You also have they same oppertunity at Pitt. Pretend it's bowl game & spend 3 days. Depending on Navy & temple sch, I hope to be in Pittsburg & catch game

Maybe with a new head coach, Michigan will be looking to schedule a new OOC game or two...
