Every week you have to bring your A game, which isn't the case in the Big 10, especially this year. Plus a Charmin soft OOC schedule, and Ohio State beat who? Michigan? Washington? They lost to the best team they played, no reason what-so-ever that they should've been in the title game. They made it through with 1 loss, that's great, but you don't deserve a title opportunity over team's that actually went out and played a challenging schedule.

But after the way Ohio State has stunk up the BCS title game the past 2 years, I hope the voters will handicap whatever they do in the future. If it's a toss up between the Buckeyes and ________, theres no doubt that these piss poor title game performances will be in their minds.

If Ohio State played LSU's schedule this year, they'd probably lose 3-4 games.
Where's the argument here!?

Yes, I agree how much more difficult the SEC is than the Big 10. It's not even debatable, IMO. I think the SEC is better at the top, and far deeper.

Yes, I agree that the only reason OSU made the title game was because of an incredibly soft schedule.

Yes, I agree OSU would've probably lost 3+ games by playing an SEC schedule this season.

Yes, I agree that there were other teams that were better than OSU and could've done more with a title opportunity.

What did I ever say to make you think otherwise? I'm sorry I ever even chimed in on this thread. All I said, apparently getting everyone pissed off, is that there were no great teams this year. And guess what, there weren't any. I think that's pretty obvious considering there wasn't a single undefeated team and the only one loss teams were Hawaii & Kansas...with two very weak schedules.

Does that mean there were no great teams, or that there was an even spread at the top? Is there anyone really standing out of the pack with LSU-Georgia-USC-WVU-maybe OSU? Those teams are basically equal across the board. How does going undefeated (like Hawaii) prove anything? A 1-loss team can't be great?

A one loss team can be great if their one loss was to a top level team. I have a real hard time calling a 2 loss team as great. This particular season there were only 2 one loss teams (Kansas & Hawaii). Both of them played poor schedules, and neither really proved greatness to me. Every other team had at least 2 losses this year, and I just don't see how you can label them with greatness.

I suppose you could say that there were a multitude of great teams this year and that's why nobody ended up looking great, by comparison, but I don't think that's the case here. I watched a lot of college football and every team that I saw had flaws. I think the best team of the year won the national title, but they weren't without their issues.

Not as bad as BG tough guy.

I guess that is the last time I try to keep everyone up after a big let down..

F U

Go Bucks!

They will be in the title game again next year.

Terrell Pryor and the Block "O" class baby!
I think OSU has players as good and fast as LSU they just made dumb penalties in bad spots, very un-Tressel like. Next year is Ohio State's year if the the guys on D come back.

Oh Tek....Pryor has already crossed OSU off the list he is down to Michigan and Oregon.
I believe you got some incorrect news, sir.

He is down to UM, Florida and OSU..isn't taking a visit to Florida.

may not even have time to go to UM..he has a few more weeks of HS bball then it will be LOI day..

95% Buckeye as Steve Helwagen from Bucknuts.com puts it.

he is good friends with the "Brew crew"..hung out with them all week during the army all american game, and went to dinner with them after the game. Even asked for a buckeyes decal from Michael Brewster to put on his helmet during the game.

Oregon not in the picture.
Todd Mcshey (sp?) from Scouts Inc. this past week said Michigan, Oregon. Leaning towards Michigan because of location. And Michigan because of Rodriguez's system now being there. Hey don't get me wrong I would love to see him become a Buckeye.
Check that again bro..everything else says otherwise
