The female bird is 99% of the time a lady inside and was at the game! The only exception I've ever seen is always a falcons son in the Frieda costume at Purdue a few years back for the NCAA tourney game!

I actually remember seeing a male in the Frieda costume a few years back. I think it was at a hockey game. The male wore leggin's to cover up his leg hair...it was SOOOO obvious that Frieda wasn't female that day!! :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

If I recall the time was 90/91 year. One of the Frieda's had the NICEST set of gams on her.

I reminded her of that regularly and I, consequently, reaped my reward.
