I hope each of you has a pleasant time in Norman. While every fan base has a few bad apples, I think you will find the majority of Sooner fans to be among the most cordial in college football, and they are knowledgeable enough to know BG will bring a good team to town.
Many of us believe this will be the most talented team of the Stoops era, but we realize talent and success don't always walk hand-in-hand. Opening against a team of BG's caliber will give us early and realistic feedback on how high to set our sights.
Your team could not be more welcome on our schedule, and your fans could not be more welcome to our stadium. Once our game is over, you can add at least one Sooner to the legion of Falcon fans.

I will making the shorter trip for me than the rest of you. I will have a big Sooner fan with me. He is always talking about his Mighty Sooners, and I really can't wait until we show him that we are mighty as well. He already respects BG, mostly because I won't stop talking about them. I will ask him where the best place to tailgate is, and I will let you know where we will be. I almost can't wait any longer.
