There will be students getting there at 8am...myself included.

Then, trekking up to BG VERY early Sat. morning. The plan is a beer in-hand on the east side of the Doyt by noon. I'm looking forward to meeting the AZZ crew. I'll be flying solo ( well, sorta, I'll have Captain and coke for those who requested it). LET'S GO AND MAKE IT 2 AND O!!!!
Check your PM...I sent you one about the tailgate and finding us! Looking forward to meeting you!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. And for those who may not be familiar...

This is where we normally get together.

My main function at work this week seems to be figuring out how early I can make it to the tailgate and reading all the posts in this forum. Has anybody done a study on BG alumni productivity at work following a victory such as this? My guess is that it rivals the usual "March Madness" slow down.

Thinking about plans for this weekend and I think I'm going to bring the kettle out for this game.

Early plans are chicken wings and atomic buffalo turds. Probably bring something else to throw on the grill as well, but we'll see.

Lookin' forward to some hopefully great weather and seeing everybody again! Most of all lookin' forward to the game!

When Grant isn't maintaining the coolest BG fan board out there, his day gig is an IT Manager so he could probably develop an app that measures session times, but for now let's assume the following percentages of actual productivity:

Freak - 15%. This is a tough week for him and he's all over the place. The win at Pitt, knocking down a ranked opponent, comparing that to a game back in '92, upcoming Big 10 team at the Doyt, tailgating plans, etc.

Metz - down to about 60%. The increased anti-Frickers campaign is taking away from study time.

Flipper - 80%, not too bad. He gets in, gets his jabs in, then gets out.

Hammb - runs at about 60%, unless its a week where we get stymied against a lesser opponent then he starts railing on Brandon.

Falcon Fanatic - probably about 85%. It doesn't take too long to find something to be positive about.

Me- the usual 50%. ...even when its not football season

That thing I ate last year was plenty hot for me...I think I'll wuss out on the Jolokias.

If you want to make up some Jolokia buffalo turds feel free to throw 'em on the grill. I always make 'em with Jalapeños, but the fact is that they really aren't that hot after you take all the seeds out & cook them. Jolokia is probably a little too powerful, but whatever floats your boat man.

We'll probably be there between 2 and 3:00. I sure am glad this is a night game. A Flag FB game is scheduled for 11am for my little Falcon.
I sure hope I can find a spot within 500yds of that circle you've drawn by that late hour.

Yeah, that orange circle is new.

As of last night there were precisely ZERO porta-johns in the lots. I'm SURE this will change before Saturday....
