If there was one thing that gave me concern for tonight, it was playing Geter after only a one game suspension. I think he should lose the season.

If so, then I yelled louder than I thought. At that time, I was in section 11 on the west side. Then, after that, some guy a few rows down from me was yelling at the fans leaving, calling them fair weather fans, losers, and to sit down. Then about a minute later, he gets up, so I just had to yell, "Hey, the game's not over, you fair weather fan."
ROLL ALONG!!!

The one he got back wasnt even his fault, that was more Sheehans fault then anything.Class of 61 wrote:Actually, he had THREE fumbles, but got one back himself...even that was close!always a falcon wrote:We were saying the same thing...Karma bit Brandon in the AZZ. 2 fumbles.ZuluWarrior wrote:For those that believe in Karma, Geter gave Brandon what he deserved.

Anyways, I find this thread pretty funny because if it were not for the credit card thing this wouldnt even be an issue. Geter and Bullock are both great running backs and we are a better team with both of them playing. So yea, he had a bad game but we all know what he is capable of and saw it last year.
And Geter being too small to be our back? Thats a pretty funny statement, and I am not sure if I was watching another player, but the Geter I see is tough to bring down. He runs over linebackers and carries defensive lineman on his back. Dont let his size fool you, he is a very strong kid.
I know everyone is upset about the game and the turnovers, as well as the credit card issue (and im not defending that in any way), but he is a great running back and is going to be a big part of us getting to the MAC Championship. So is Bullock, we need both those guys in order for this team to be the best it can be. I agree Bullock deserves more touches, but if you remember he also had problems holdin on to the football. Have we ever even heard about Geter having those problems until last night? No. With that said I think everyone needs to take it down a couple notches.
Anyways, the team needs to regroup and realize they got a great team and have an opportunity to do something very special this year. They will be back to bein the underdog again and they thrive on that. This team has a lot of leadership and seniors and they will have this team ready to beat the piss out of Boise. GO FALCONS!

Especially interesting when you consider that UM kicked off...close to 20 BG players who "wouldn't pay the price". Wonder how he deals with his kids at Fla.?factman wrote:I guess Coach Brandon has been talking to Urban!!!
