You're delusional if you think Ohio D1A schools are taking lesser talent just because it's from the home state while more talented players are not getting offers. These coaches are played to win, PERIOD. They do everything in their power to put the best players on the field. They don't care if they come from Ohio, Florida, or Uganda.
The fact is that Ohio produces a good deal of football talent. It has nothing to do with how many colleges their are in the state. To take it a step further Ohio ranks 5th in total player in the NFL as well. Or are you going to tell me that Ohio players benefit from having 2 teams in state?
Sorry, you may not like Ohio HS football, but the fact is the state produces a ton of talent, and it should be the focus of our recruiting efforts to get the MAC level kids to come to BG.
