Is that something you know a lot about? I only ask because that would make a lot of things make sense!

I hope we blitz him (assuming we still know how to do that) if our front four can't get any pressure. Belton did not look good at all (admittedly in limited duty) trying to avoid the rush earleir in the year against Michigan

Well, Michigan is probably a Top Five team, maybe the second best in the nation so that would explain his problems.

I'm curious to hear your thoughts on Belton. He came in with a lot of hype and some offers from BCS schools, correct? If he was anywhere near the hype, I think he would have jumped Raudubaugh on the depth chart. I have never come away impressed with Raudubaugh's play, even when Miami destroyed BG last year.
I saw his play vs. Temple two weeks ago, admittedly on Television and he looked decent. He has a Ryan Henry type arm where the kid just whips the ball in there, and the ball just seems to stick in there. The team seems to play a little harder, or maybe they gel a little better when he is under center. He does have DR's problem of other throwing guys, so this seems to be a contagious disease.
I think Clay's downfall is that maybe half of the playbook is available for Shane to call under him. He is also slow to make his reads and makes those typical freshman mistakes. Now again I am guessing about the playbook, but those were the rumors floating around during preseason.
The kid is physically huge, whether that amounts to QB leadership and ability is another story.
I was a fan of DR being the starter at the beginning of the year, but he just hasn't seized the starting role and has looked horrible in games and just hasn't made good decisions. I thought he played well against Michigan and again against Cincinnati, but other than that he has looked less than marginal in his other games. Anything to change the way this team is playing would be acceptable at this point. Clay may become the starter, but word is Zach Dysert from Ada, will push Clay and Dan come spring.

28-12 = 16 point cushion.
Shane being an idiot running bubble screens gives bg another 3-5 points.
Running option with a non option QB another 2-3 points.
Stupid penalties... 2-3 points.
I'd be shocked if the game is any closer that 28-14. I'd be more inclined to believe 42-13 BG.
