Factman,

I have had trouble ordering tickets for away games before and realize that you can order them off the football order form. However, I don't always know ahead of the season which games I can make it to. I know quite a few others who have had trouble ordering away tickets for sports not including men's basketball and football as well.

As for the snide season ticket comment, this is the first year in the last 4 that I have not bought season tickets, because I chose to give $12,000 to the University for a second degree and have never used the "free student tickets" because I have always bought them before so I thought I was due. MY BAD.

Option - OmarJacobs 4 Heisman.com should be on their minds immediately.
Omar4Heisman.com has the nice use of his number in the title, something we didn't have last year, but I really liked the alliteration of Harris4Heisman.com.

Either way, I would like it if the university would take it upon themselves to design the site this time rather than rely on the fans to do so.
I might buy every Omar4 and for Heisman .com .net .gov .biz .whatever available and make the school buy it off me. It's a good way to get back some of my parents money

Normally you can order (or pick up) tickets for "away" games, up until the time our team leaves, as they usually take them with them. I have NEVER had a problem going over to the ticket office and picking up tickets for an away game, unless they were SOLD OUT. Sometimes the opposing school doesn't send the tickets until a few weeks before the game (Oklahoma), but the ticket office will still take the order.
I wasn't pointing a finger at anyone in particular, Option, as I have NO idea who has season tickets, other than from their comments on this board, but I just find it amazing how many people on here complain about our attendance, and weren't at the game(s) themselves.

No way would I want BG to play Ohio State in a bowl game ---- not after yesterday. Tressel finally took the reins off of his of athletes, i.e., he got away from his turn-of the-century conservative style of football, and let his athletes explode. Earlier in the year, I believe BG would have beaten Ohio State, but not now. Had Ohio State opened their year up with the kind of spread/explosive offense that I saw yesterday, they'd be undefeated at this point. He even took the reins off of Smith and let him run. I hope OSU's AD is chewing Tressel's butt out this morning for messing up what should have been a great season. Tressel is being paid a huge salary to both nuture a football program and entertain the teaming 10s of thousands of fans. That wasn't really happening until yesterday. I hope Tressel takes the hint that his conservative style of football is over.

And when we beat our rival on Tuesday night, I'm going to say that we would beat Oklahoma if we got another shot at them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Tressel opened up the offense and they did play very well in all aspects of the game, but this was their rivalry game. When comparing two teams, you can't base it solely on one game, let alone their rivalry game. I still think we would win the mythical matchup, but obviously its not going to happen. Congratulations to all you Buckeye fans, but one game does not make them an elite team.

You mean the style that won the National Championship 22 months ago? Exiting football is great but winning is the only meaningful measurement.

I love BG but I think if Ohio State played the way they did against Michigan they would beat BG. It would be close but our defense has shown some weak spots this season. Now if Ohio State played the way they have all year then I think BG could pull out a win. But I think Tressel has found an offense that best fits his players. Smith just needed time to adjust to the offense. We can debate this forever but there is no right answer until they play. Games aren't played on paper or on stats and Ohio State proved that yesterday. So saying that BG is the best team in Ohio is only an opinion until BG plays every team in Ohio. It would be a heck of a game though.

I like the way this kid thinks, even if it only happens occasionally.
