I am absolutely FURIOUS right now.
Re: Same old mistakes
I laughed out loud during the pre-game show. Todd asked a question about special teams and Brandon said "Special Teams shows the true character of a football team." Guess he is saying his team two years ago had absolutely no character because they were easily the worst all-around team on STs I have ever seen. And then more issues yesterday.Mayo67 wrote:The last punt block is simply inexcusable. The coaching staff needs to spend a lot more time getting everyone's assignments drilled into the players' minds so there are no more costly breakdowns. This has been an ongoing problem ever since Brandon has been there, and it needs to get fixed now! If we get a good punt away there, maybe the defense, as tired as they were, could have kept them from scoring and given us a chance to win in overtime.

That's convenient for him since the ST units have been decent the last year plus. Of course, before the 2005 season he said Special teams weren't very important since we could just outscore everybody. Obviously he hasn't always though they're important since a dedicated ST coach has been nowhere to be found for a large part of his tenure.Warthog wrote:I laughed out loud during the pre-game show. Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!
And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough..
the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go!
What the ‘F’ happened to the Ay-Ziggy-Zoomba folks I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? This could be the greatest football season of our lives, but you're gonna let it be the worst. "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you FreeFalcon, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my butt from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. poorlycoachedbgsu, he's a dead man! buffaloefalcon, dead! Faclonfreak90...
