I don't know why I am asked to cover the post game for them to put up on the website...they only put it up when we win b/c the footage "looks bad when we lose."

It was awkward in there though.

And when I say I won't be going to the UT game, it's because I never can go--I am not nearby. Just didn't want ppl to think that I'm a fairweather fan.
Do you have recorded audio of the "crowd is pathetic" comments? I'd like, well I wouldn't "like" but I'd listen to that...

There's a band forum here? I never knew that. Next you'll tell me there's one for hockey too.

I just handed them the tape afterwards so I don't have the footage :( Up to them to put it up but I can practically guarantee they won't. Won't bgsufalcons put it up? Or maybe fox toledo or 13 ABC action news will put it up. I saw them there.

I would assume it would be in the archived section in the multimedia section. You can go back and listen to prior games and I believe they include the post game summary and comments. Not sure when it will be available but if they edit it out I will be pissed.

bgsufalcons.com has text quotes from Coach, but not his audio, like they usually do. I don't think there is any coincidence there.

bgnewssports.com wrote:--Who's pitiful?: Traditionally, Gregg Brandon opens a losing postgame press conference by simply taking questions or explaining what went wrong. Tonight, we got a bit of a different experience as the first thing Brandon did was lash out as the fans:

"That crowd was pitiful and I'm so disappointed. The fans that showed up, that's awesome because they're the true fans. Our kids deserve so much better than that. To be in a championship with so much on the line and that kind of crowd disgusts me," Brandon said highly emphasizing the "disgusts me."
BG NEWS SPORTS DOT COM has what I assume to be the full quote. . .

If the coaching staff and players had maintained focus through the entire game, would the crowd have been "pitiful"?

Tonight's attendance was the best they could have possibly done given the kickoff time. GB and the team should have been prepared to play in front of the seniors' parents and the band. That's it.

I was really surprised to see how solid the students attendance was at kickoff and throughout the first half. You can't blame those kids for heading out early with a big lead and frigid temps.

The kids deserve better, however GB, I'm not impressed by your coaching. I retract my previous "azzhole" comment, but I think your offence is waaaayy too complicated for well, anyone. Way too many check-offs after a play has been called. The qb and everyone else needs time to focus on what they need to do. The play needs to come from the huddle. NOT from the sidelines! If your qb can't make adjustments from the set than he's got no future and needs to be replaced. If he has a future, he will adjust.

I agree with you about our QB needing the ability to adjust at the line; however, I don't really agree with the complicated offense.

I counted only about 8 different offensive plays that we ran tonight.
1+2. QB draw right and left - Tyler at QB
3+4. QB draw right and left - Beam at QB
5+6. QB draw up the middle - Turner or Barnes at QB.
7. WR screen to AT.
8. Kneel down - Tyler at QB

We'll have to agree to disagree. I think you need a man under center who has the authority to make decision to change a play when it is necessary. I'm not trying to be down on Sheehan. The coaches have to give the qb the opportunities to be the man on the field. The coaches give the guidance, but they do not make the plays.

Just for the record, 40 carries by guys lining up at QB, 5 carries by guys lining up at RB. I think there needs to be a little bit better balance.
