Well, I think everybody knows where I stand on boycotts. :-D

Anyway, I just don't see why on earth any BG fan would spend $34 (giving it to UT in the process) to freeze their butt off in enemy territory supporting an organization run by a man who despises his own fan base. F that.

That's the way to look at it, too. Briggs, Partridge, etc. What an oustanding group of young men.

Then I hope you all heckle the dumb ass Brandon the whole game, and fly banners that tell him to pack his bags. He is the worst coach BG has ever had.
No more Falcon football for me until he is gone. I will still support our student athletes via general contributions but no more football.

Well, you should be easy to pick out, FF. I'll just look for the 3 lonely guys with orange shirts. :-D

Given the coach's comments in light of poor fans support and poor performance by the team, and the terrible budget situation (which will most likely get worse, not better), maybe now is the time to eliminate football all together. Or not.

I'll be there. My little bro in my fraternity will be there. My dad will be there. I know a whole hell of a lot of football parents that will be there. I expect we'll have a decent traveling crowd.

In my 4 years at BGSU, I've never attended the BG/Toledo game...

...and for the same reason every single time. It falls on Thanksgiving break. I will never make that as my home is 3 hours south and I can't stick around that long either on campus or traveling to UT.

Why do the universities do this to me? I've heard it's to literally keep the crowds down to reduce rioting and whatnot--but that's just so crappy because it eliminates people who care. The OSU-MICH game is way bigger and yet they don't make that one fall on an inconvenient date.

Freak, hope you guys have a great time!!!! It was great to see you Friday. Like always Dave Sr. and I had a great time even though the outcome was not what we hoped, as a matter of fact it was hard to believe what happened, still trying to figure it out. Can't wait to see you guys next season!!!! Go BG!!!!!

i disagree, they'll just feel like they're at the Doyt!!!

We will be there and here's why! This is what I posted on the ut tailgate thread:

BGFan and I had thought about not going to the game. Just didn't want to spend that kind of money after the disappointment of last Friday and the irritating aftermath that followed.... BUT, Major Falcon's brother (the ut grad) got us really cheap tix, so we will be there! We are going because we LOVE tailgating with our AZZ friends (and families...even if one of them is a ut alum #-o )! Life long friends that we have made because of AZZ, I might add!!!

Sorry to repeat a post, but it seemed much more appropriate here!!!!

So, for the AZZ family & friends, seniors, team, band, cheerleaders, etc... we will be there cheering you on!!

GO FALCONS!!!
ALWAYS AND FOREVER...BEAT UT!!!!!!! \:D/
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Hey MACMAN Why doesn't Brandon go to your job and heckle you? Why would you heckle a man that currently holds a 30-17 (63.8%) MAC record, best in the conference since 2003?
