Well the media voted on these awards, isnt that a good enough explanation?? They screw everything else up, why not the All-MAC awards too>???

Guess you didn't read the link I posted to Ryan's blog. I'll save you the trouble and cut and paste the relevant portion for you:

"Actually before we get started, I want to emphasize that coaches vote on the team and individual awards while the media votes strictly on the individual awards. In other words, don’t blame me."

In the Big 12 Colt McCoy was player of the year but on the second team.
