I should have...haha. I do owe my inside source a beer though, he was dead on. I am so glad we hired this guy, he seems like a real stand up individual, I don't see him throwing his players under the bus in postgame pressers.TG1996 wrote:No problem. I can't speak for others, but I thought he was pretty impressive....said all the right things about BG of course, but I really liked the "admission" that he probably made his first coaching year WORSE than better until he learned more. It seemed somewhat different hearing a coach saying, in essence, "it's on me if we're not doing the right things, putting players in position to win" etc.
Key thing as I see it is "rebuilding" recruiting relationships with our base...which he alluded to... hopefully, if he sees some of current staff as being assets, he'll retain them...just too bad he lost a promising young line coach/co-off. coord.

I heard Bowling Green State. Seriously though, I have a good feeling about this guy. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with him....oaklane2 wrote:and Bowling Green UniversityBGorDeath wrote:OMG, he said MAC Conference.
