He's the one that jumped out to me when I looked through Richmond's coaching staff, both with the length of time he was at Richmond, and the recruiting part.

Huesman's gotta have mega frequent flier miles with that recruiting base. Sea to shining sea (and the Dakotas).

I just noticed Carney because he coached with Clawson for a bit, was a younger guy and his E. Ohio/W. Pa. recruiting areas.

wait, is this(Carney) a suggestion for an Asst. Coach or a fact that he IS a new BGSU Asst. Coach?

I'm not seeing any press releases...

A post from Grant is as good as a press release.

Especially now that we don't have our own beat writer at the Blade, he probably IS our press release :)

Did anyone else notice that Matt Markey wrote the story about the basketball game the other day?

I did see that and was pleased that it was a pretty good length and in depth story. Still sucks what happened to Ryan A., but I'm glad the Falcons haven't been totally forgotten (as I feared when I saw the mention of the UT player being named MAC West POW, but no word on Chris Knight getting it in the East.)

It's relieving to finally hear some news. Huesman got the head coaching job at Chatonooga so he's out of the picture for defensive coordinator.

This is one of the gazillion great parts of this website. Ideally, the media should be doing the reporting and breaking stories like this. When they're unwilling/unable to do the job for whatever reason, it still gets done and we still have access to the information.

I'm not an editor or a news director, but after a hire like this has been made, you'd think there would be some type of push to do a "What have you been up to?" story weeks after the fact so we're not completely left in the dark.

Sorry, but Dan Cummins evidently feels he has better things to do than come to BG for press conferences and the like.

Cummins has his head so far up Toledo's arse you could call him a tonsil.
