Something about the following just seems so wrong:ZiggyZoomba wrote:ESPN has a good run-down of the whole ordeal:

"We found the culture and ethos of the department to be sounded and solid and nothing to indicate something like this would occur," Burns said.

Boy,
I predicted this 3 years ago. The team went from GMAC Glory, to undisciplined crap. I sat behind coeds at the UM game, who work at the UT athletic office who described many players as thugs.
Tyrell Herbert and Richrod won the Michigan game for us, but the team can't beat FIU. The fact that a few fringe players are involved in point shaving told me that real players were under suspicion.
We went from heroes to zeros in one year, and the running game went to hell amidst a recruiting class of potential standouts.
This doesn't mean we'll get the "death penalty". Thank goodness we have a new coaching staff to do our recruiting.

Spitting in public would be a much more serious charge than no longer playing on your HS baseball team.factman wrote:Sounds like there is at least "one" possible problem in the incoming class at UT. Eric Page is no longer playing with his HS baseball team and there is speculation of a much more serious charge(s).
