Your right on! All of our great athletes are on offense. Hopefully that willl change with each better recruiting season. But a philosaphy of we'll win only if our offense is madly clicking on all cylinders is just foolish. You MUST have a great defense to win when at times your great offense sputters a bit. No great offense can play great all the time for an entire season. It just doesn't happen. So if your defense is very good it can make up for the fact your not scoring the way you think you should. But sadly our defense is not very good yet. Its marginall good at best. Our defense seems to be designed to show up once in while and just enough till the clock runs out and the other team just doens't have enough time to put more points on the board. Get my drift?
Next year I wanna see Coach Brandon put some serious athletes on D as much as possible and use players that have good size and beef to compete.
