The last two BG/UT games have been pretty interesting to watch. :-D

yeah the way colorado is playing this year they may get 2 or 3 wins in my opinion. Although the buffs are not good, its still a good win for the mac. This kinda reminds me of the Missou BG game in 2002 51-28 2009 Toledo 51-24 with 7 left in the game.

What an ugly, ugly game. Every other play is flagged.

Just came from this game. Toledo looked good.

Having said that, Colorado did a lot of shooting themselves in the foot. They were running HB draws, and UT wasn't holding them to less than 5 yards very often. If they would have stuck with the run early on, this would be a very different game. Colorado's WR's also drop a lot of balls. CU's QB should be taken off the field. He is too short to be a QB, doesn't read well, and tends to overthrow his targets.

UT will still need to improve its run defense.

UT's offense is on fire right now, but I wonder if it will last once teams have some time to prepare for them.

Let's just hope it doesn't happen in the next week. Perhaps their running backs will start turning it up. That would definitely help prolong their success.

The more I watch the end of this game, the more I long for a root canal.

Well, there goes your QB question for next week. Nice hit 42.

Yeah, Donald could get suspended for that one. That was pretty vicious. But, I guess that's what Dan gets for leaving his son in when it's a blowout.

Not to make a joke in poor taste, but did Toledo just do Colorado a service by making them put in a new QB next week?

0-12 is a real possibility. Wow.
That could happen for 10 straight years and it still wouldn't make up for the 5th down game.

You know personally I feel sorry for Colorado and their fans. I looked at there forums at http://www.netbuffs.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and almost every post calls for hawkins to be fired. Not only that but lots of fans are talking about not renewing or giving up their season tickets and dont even care to follow their team anymore. By the way I think its rather bad that Hawkins starts his son at QB. After seeing this game tonight I have reason to believe he didnt actually work his was to his position as starting QB. I mean the guy is undersized and only 190lbs. I bet he cant even really see over his OL. Even tho Colorado wasnt in their prime when Coach Hawkins took over the program I know they could have easily found someone better to fill his spot, and for the AD and the alumn and team boosters to allow him to do this is just plain crazy to me. I think as long as hes their head coach they will spiral downward till they hit rock bottom which may be the case already. I really hope that they can win a few games this year and that they can get their program turned around in the upcoming years.

Yeah, what a great win for UT and the MAC!

They beat a truly awful team coming off a loss to CSU at home on four days rest with virtually their entire fan base calling for the coach to be fired.

Congratulations!

I'm sure Little Timmy will be burning up the Twitter page informing people of this monumentous accomplishment.

Yeah, it was the only game we had scheduled last night. Don't be so bitter, Joey. It was fun.

Regardless of how up or down Colorado may be, some of the responses in this thread sound alarmingly like those of BCS conference fans as mentioned in the "MAC Creed" article that was posted.

Congrats, UT, on beating Colorado. Good win for you guys and the MAC.

...but you still stink.

After being up 'til 2 in the morning and leaping all over the Glass Bowl I'm sure I stink and I have no voice. But I'm off for my morning ride on a critter that stinks even worse so that'll mask some of the more offensive stuff... ;-)

Ah, but you underrate the enjoyment of bitterness! It's just that BG is playing conference champions and Top 25 teams while UT plays name teams like Colorado and Michigan at their lowest point in decades. Word is your AD is hurridly attempting to schedule Oklahoma this year now that they don't have Bradford.

Regarding the whole "MAC Creed," I fully and completely support our non-BCS brothers when they play the arrogant, corrupt beheamoths except when they're programs (like UT) in direct competition with BG for recruits, media attention, students and just about everything else. If that's the case they can gladly lose 45-0 as far as I'm concerned. :-)
